INTO Cycling is one of INTO Giving's big - and now international - events of the year.

Hundreds of INTO students, faculty and employees take part every spring. Held over two days, cycling teams raise money through sponsorship and attempting to out-pedal each other on stationary cycles. INTO Cycling sponsorship and donations have raised more than £5,000 (US $6,500).

 

2017

Overall Distance Cycled - 2,252 miles (3,627 km) - the same as cycling from Chicago to San Francisco, or the the Tour de France

Greatest Team Distance -  INTO Newcastle (462 miles)

Most Sponsorship Raised - INTO Oregon State University (US $700 or £532)

Greatest Individual Distance in 30 minutes - Georgy, an A-level student at INTO UEA (14.3 miles)

Largest Team Award - INTO Manchester

Best Small INTO Centre Award - INTO Glasgow Caledonian University (279 miles)

 

 

2016

Overall Distance Cycled: 1,926 miles (3,100 km) - the same as cycling all the way from Moscow to Barcelona, or Tampa, Florida to Denver, Colorado

Greatest Team Distance -  INTO Newcastle (282 miles)

Most sponsorship Raised -  INTO Newcastle (£780)

Greatest Individual Distance - Oli Selwood (80km)

Largest Team Award - INTO Manchester

Best Small INTO Centre Award - INTO ST George's (173 miles, $451 in sponsorship)
